Reminder of tonight’s Selectmen’s meeting

This is a reminder of the Selectmen’s meeting tonight Monday July 15th at 7:00 PM in the Selectmen’s meeting room at the Town Hall. There are three items on the agenda that deal with Market Street

1. Kings Bowling will be applying for their bowling alley and common victualler license

2. The Report of the Recreation Park Advisory Committee (Fields Committee). Some people have suggested funding the 7.5 million cost with revenue from a cinema

3. LIFE financing plan and PILOT program -The group that will own and manage the 48 over 60 years age apartment. There may be a discussion of how much they should pay in taxes. Their current apartments pay 66% of the tax rate, and the selectmen may discuss changing that rate or eliminating the estimated taxes of 262,000.
